Brief description of the monument
Located at the bottom of the Mexuar, this oratory that was in a terrible state due to the explosion in 1590 of a powder magazine in the Darro Valley, was restored in 1917. The front wall has four balconies, with twin arches and small windows. The mihrab, very decorated, has a horseshoe arch, and has several inscriptions that refer to the precepts of the Koran, as well as praise of Mohamed V.
